Even Trump Thought Eric Bolling’s Crackpot GOP Convention Conspiracy Theory Was Dumb

Eric Bolling tried to pitch a crazy crackpot conspiracy theory to Donald Trump about the GOP establishment changing the convention rules to take the nomination from Trump even IF he got to the 50% delegate threshold.

Even Infowars-loving Donald Trump thought the idea was stupid and rejected it out of hand.

Watch below:

And he’s right. The real debate here is whether Trump should get the nomination even if he doesn’t meet the threshold, which is in the rules.

Trump-lovers are trying to fix the game before he loses by saying it would be stolen from him otherwise. But that’s if you’re completely ignorant of history and how elections work, and just throw a childish tantrum when you don’t get what you want.

Bolling is an embarrassment. He is one of the reasons i never turn on Fox News these days.

If Trump has 1237, you have to give him the nomination……full on destruction of the country and all. Thems the rules. Thems the votes. Elections have consequences.

BUT– im one of the people who think if he has 1236– he doesnt get it automatically. The threshold is 1237, even one delegate less and its a different game. Now i know he wont be denied the nomination for being short a single delegate, but it doesnt change my point of view. Anything less than 1237 and it should not just be handed to Trump.

Let pray that he isnt even close. It sounds like Cruz is doing what Cruz does and working hard on the ground to get as many unbound delegates as possible.

I think some of Fox News is still good. Special Report with Brett Baier is exceptional, and Megyn Kelly is fair. But the Trump boosting Bolling, Andrea Tantaros, Hannity, O’Reilly, and Greta cannot be stomached.
